Job description:


The purpose of this position is to provide support and management for a customers
** UNIX environment. Typically this individual will provide daily support for UNIX servers located in local or remote data centers. This individual will be based on-site at a customer location and participate in customer meetings. This individual will also be part of a larger service delivery team that supports all outsourced IT and network environments. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To provide technical support and management of a HP-UX and Solaris UNIX environment. Installation of operating system software and utilities UNIX Kernel configuration and maintenance patch installation Experience administering DNS, NFS, NIS and SMTP Configuring internal and external devices attached to the systems Installing application software Assist in developing standards and documentation for managing UNIX servers Participate in regular disaster recovery testing Regular, predictable attendance Other duties at assigned We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
